An air ambulance was called to Oldham on Thursday afternoon (April 27) as a motorbike rider was left injured following a crash with a car.
Police blocked off Chapel Road, outside Tim Hortons, at around 5.30pm following the collision. A number of police vehicles and another ambulance attended the scene.
The motorbike rider sustained leg injuries in the incident that are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, police confirmed.

Pictures taken from the scene show a visibly damaged red Vauxhall with the front bumper torn off. No arrests were made and the driver of the car involved reported it to the police and remained at the scene with officers.
The biker was taken to hospital from the scene on Chapel Road but it has not yet been confirmed whether they were transported in the air ambulance or by road.
