Air ambulance called to busy Nottingham street after 'medical emergency'

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to a Nottingham road on Tuesday morning, November 24.

Crews were called to Gregory Boulevard in the forest Forest Fields area just after 9.30am to reports of a "medical emergency".

One patient was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in an ambulance.

An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson told Nottinghamshire Live: “We received a call at 9.39am on 24 November to Gregory Boulevard in Nottingham.

"The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent two paramedics in fast response cars and a double-crewed ambulance.

"The air ambulance was also in attendance. One patient was take to Queen’s Medical Centre via double-crewed ambulance.”

Nottinghamshire Police said they were called to "control the traffic" during the incident.
