Air ambulance called after man injured in fall

A man has been taken to hospital after a fall in Portstewart.

He fell from a height at the North West 200 paddock before 10am on Sunday.

The Ballyreagh Road was closed but was reopened.

An air ambulance and crew were sent to the scene.

Newtownards community calls for traffic action as child remains in induced coma after collision  

An ambulance service spokesman said: "Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene the patient was taken by ambulance to Causeway Hospital."
