Air ambulance called to Trowell road after crash involving motorbike

Emergency services were called after a crash involving a motorbike.

The incident happened at Stapleford Road in Trowell at around 8.20am on Monday, June 15.

Police, the fire service and an air ambulance were called to the scene.

The motorbike rider suffered injuries to his arm and leg.

A spokesman for the police said: "Nottinghamshire Police were called to Stapleford Road in Trowell at around 8.20am this morning following a motorbike collision.

"Access was partially blocked with oil on the road. An ambulance and the local fire service attended. The rider suffered non-life altering injuries to his arm and leg."

A spokesman for the Fire Service added: "A crew from Ilkeston White have attended a road traffic collision on Nottingham Road in Trowell. The crew made the scene safe by using environmental grab packs and by swilling the roadway."
