There is nothing better than finding a bargain but with the strain of lockdown taking a financial toll, its more crucial than ever to make money go that little bit further.
Thankfully there is one Liverpool-based retailer offering branded items for less that you might not know about.
Just a Bargain is a cash and carry warehouse, based on Brookfield Drive in Aintree and specialises in clearance food, drink and sweets.
The company, which has a store in Bootle too, aims to eliminate food waste and boost savings for customers in the process.
The company says 80% of its products are still in their best before dates.
Its deals have become so popular there is even a Facebook group set up where shoppers share the bargains they have picked up.
Brands in stock can change weekly, but customers have previously found Cadbury, Kellogg's, Walkers, Nescafe, Coca Cola and more.
Reviews on its Facebook page show how much customers praise the concept. One user said: "Great deals. First visit won't be my last lovely friendly staff definitely recommend a visit."
Another said: "Brilliant shop, staff so friendly & helpful, made up i found it!! highly recommend, cant wait to return!"
And a third said: Amazing bargains, sound staff happy to help and even offered to look in the back for what I wanted, been 3 or 4 times now and I'll probably visit weekly."
Back in April Just a Bargain's team announced plans to open warehouse in St Helens after the success of its Aintree Cash and Carry and Bootle retail store.
The St Helens store has now open, along with the Aintree store, but the Bootle store is temporarily closed due to renovations.
Stores opening times are Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm and Saturday, Sunday: 10am to 4pm.
