Aintree Racecourse is bringing back its festive Christmas markets for 2019

Christmas markets will be returning to Aintree Racecourse this year.

Returning for its third year, the market will run from November 30 to December 1 with more than 50 local traders.

Among the festive treats visitors can pick up are cakes, sweets, toys and handmade Christmas gifts.

Traders will be offering homemade cakes, jams, candles, chocolates and wreaths too.

Throughout the weekend there will be festive performances from local dancers, family fair rides and plenty of food trucks to go around.

There will also be visits from Father Christmas, who will be listening to Christmas wishes and handing out gifts to little ones.

Aintree Christmas Markets take place at the Princess Royal Stand, Aintree Racecourse from 11am to 4pm on both days.

Entry to the market costs £1 per adult and children go free.

The market is organised by Crafty Duck Events - for ticket enquiries or to register a stall contact the company via Facebook.
