Ainslie street reopens following house fire

An Ainslie streets has reopened after firefighters extinguished a house fire on Wednesday night.

Firefighters were called to Cowper Street around 5.30pm and had put out the blaze before 8pm.

There were no injuries.

Cowper Streets between Cox Street was reopened as emergency services left the scene.

Cowper Street in both directions is now open.

Residents are advised to take caution when in the area.
