Aimee Lou Wood is reportedly set to sprinkle some star power over the festive season as the face of Marks & Spencer’s 2025 Christmas campaign.

The Sex Education star, who recently appeared in The White Lotus as lovable party girl Chelsea, is believed to have signed a contract with the British high street favourite to front its highly anticipated Christmas advert, due to air in November.

According to insiders, M&S bosses are “thrilled” to have secured the 31 year old Stockport born actress, calling the casting “a coup that rivals can’t possibly match.”

Filming for the ad is expected to begin later this month, with industry sources tipping it to be one of the most memorable campaigns in recent memory.

“Aimee is a true British success story,” a source told the MailOnline. “She’s charming, grounded, and at the top of her game following her White Lotus breakout. This partnership with Marks & Spencer is a perfect fit.”

Wood joins a long list of high profile talent tapped for M&S’s Christmas offerings in recent years, including Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, singer Sophie Ellis Bextor and actress Zawe Ashton.

Her signing is reportedly worth up to seven figures, a move backed by M&S’s strong financial performance. The retailer reported pre tax profits of £875.5 million for the year to March — its highest in over 15 years.

“She’s one of the most talked about women in the world right now,” added the source. “Having her front your Christmas ad is the kind of publicity money can’t usually buy.”

The campaign is expected to be glitzier than 2024’s Dawn French led series, which saw the beloved comedian reprise her role as the M&S Christmas fairy while also appearing as herself.

The announcement comes on the heels of a headline-making moment for Wood, whose onscreen chemistry with White Lotus co star Walton Goggins sparked widespread speculation of an offscreen rift after he unfollowed her on Instagram.

Goggins ultimately shut down the rumours, calling Wood “a megastar” and comparing her to Goldie Hawn and Meg Ryan.

“There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly,” he told fans.
