AIK issue fresh Boli Bolingoli pledge as Swedes vow to get tough over Celtic star's alleged racial abuse

AIK have announced they are still investigating alleged racial abuse aimed at Celtic star Boli Bolingoli .

Neil Lennon's side cruised to a 4-1 victory in Sweden last Thursday, but the victory was marred by the abuse from the home fans after the defender celebrated Celtic 's fourth goal, before both sets of fans clashed at the end of the Europa League match.

And although the racist abuse was not referred to UEFA , AIK have vowed to take action after launching an investigation of their own.

AIK stadium safety officer Jens Andersson said: "We have done a full internal investigation as to what has or has not happened with relation to this incident.

"There are still people we want to interview who have been away, so we are extending it.

"When we conclude this investigation, the club will act accordingly. But we wish to make it very clear AIK will not stand for any form of racism."

Both AIK and Celtic found themselves on a UEFA charge following the ugly scenes, with the hosts being investigated for clocked stairwells and the Scottish champions being looked at for throwing objects and firecrackers.

UEFA will announce their decision on September 19.

Celtic vowed to probe the abuse after the game and stated: "We are investigating this matter fully."
