AIK Stockholm have been hit with an £82,500 fine by UEFA just days before their Europa League decider against Celtic .
The Swedes have been hammered by European football's governing body after their fans stormed the away sections of their ground during their Champions League qualifier with Maribor earlier this month.
Neil Lennon 's side take a two-goal lead to Sweden as they try to cement their place in the group stage.
And it's not just Rangers who have been the subject of a UEFA clampdown this week, after the Ibrox club were forced to close off 3,000 seats for their second leg tie with Legia Warsaw, following a 'racist behaviour' charge after their home tie with St Joseph's.
AIK have been punished due to trouble during their clash with Maribor, where they were eliminated on away goals despite winning 3-2 at their Friends Arena.
Home fans stormed the away section of the stadium in a bid to recover a stolen flag, which led to riots in the stands.
UEFA fined them around £60,000 for that and another £22,500 for the use of pyrotechnics and throwing objects on to the pitch during the match.
AIK stated: "We have already announced we have conducted a full review of the incidents and we won't be commenting further until we receive UEFA's report on this."
But manager Rikard Norling slammed his own fans for their antics.
He said: "We are a club together, on the pitch and in the stands.
"This has cost us dearly. It's a lesson for the supporters. You must keep your head if you are provoked both on and off the pitch."
