Aidan O'Shea's girlfriend captures GAA star's reaction to Liverpool's loss to Burnley

Liverpool fans were left shocked on Thursday night following the Reds' 1-0 defeat to Burnley in the Premier League.

The defending champions now trail leaders Manchester United by six points and have failed to score in their last four league games.

Mayo GAA star Aidan O'Shea was one of many disappointed Liverpool supporters after Thursday's game and his girlfriend captured his reaction.

Sharing videos on Instagram, Kristin McKenzie Vass said: "Oh Jesus. Tensions are high. Afraid to speak."

O'Shea is a huge fan of the English club and congratulated Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher on making his Champions League debut last month.

Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher is very concerned with how the team are currently playing.

He told Sky Sports: "I can’t remember a time when this Liverpool team have been so out of form.

"The front three and the full-backs – all five of them – don’t feel anywhere near their best.

"It’s not just that they’re not scoring, it’s the general play as well. You saw with [Mohamed] Salah, three or four times he just ran into defenders.

"Liverpool supporters will be massively frustrated. This team has brought the title back but the best Liverpool teams have brought that standard year in year out."

He added: "Jurgen Klopp has defended the players but at this moment it looks like the title is slipping away, it will be really difficult [to retain it].

"They’ve been so poor, it’s hard to believe what has happened to Liverpool. So many players out of form at the same time."
