Google has unveiled Gemini Enterprise, a new AI platform to unify enterprise workflows, data, and people under one intelligent interface. Described as the “front door for AI in the workplace,” Gemini Enterprise brings Google’s AI infrastructure, Gemini models, and DeepMind research into a single system.
At the core of Gemini Enterprise is a chat-based interface that connects directly to company data and tools, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and SAP. This setup allows employees across teams to access information, automate processes, and build custom AI agents without writing code.
The platform integrates six core components: a no-code workbench, pre-built Google agents, customisable workflows, secure data integration, unified governance, and a vast partner ecosystem of over 100,000 collaborators. Together, these allow businesses to orchestrate complex, cross-functional tasks instead of relying on isolated AI tools.
Gemini Enterprise runs on Google’s most advanced Gemini models, delivering multi-modal capabilities that understand and generate text, images, video, and speech. Within Google Workspace, for instance, the platform powers new agents such as Google Vids, which can turn presentations into narrated videos, and real-time speech translation in Meet, now available to all business customers.
Apart from that, the tech giant announced a Data Science Agent to help enterprises automate data exploration and model development. Early adopters like Vodafone and Morrisons are already using it to speed up analytics and improve customer experiences.
According to the shared press release, over one million developers are already using Gemini CLI to interact with Gemini models via the command line for automation and coding tasks. Google is expanding this ecosystem through new standards like the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol and Agent Payments Protocol (AP2), enabling agents to communicate and securely complete transactions.
Furthermore, the company also introduced Google Skills, which is a new learning platform offering free AI training, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) program to help one million developers build enterprise-grade AI agents.
