AHMEDABAD: Naranpura police on Wednesday registered a case against Girish Solanki and Geeta Makwana who were allegedly running a prostitution racket from their residence in Naranpura.
The complaint was lodged by Raman Manji, a crime branch head constable with Naranpura police. In his complaint, he stated that he got a tip-off from the women cell that a prostitution racket was running in Naranpura under the guise of spa and massage parlour.
The cops sent a dummy customer to the spot who entered the house and informed police that the given tip-off was correct.
A raid was conducted immediately and police found two women in the house who said that they were called by one Girish Solanki.
The duo told the cops that Girish used to bring customers. Girish is absconding, said cops.
