Ahmedabad likely to get light showers today

AHMEDABAD: The citizens wished for a good rainy day on Sunday, but except 1mm rainfall in the early hours, the entire day remained cloudy without significant rainfall. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) officials, Monday might experience similar weather. Due to cloudy atmosphere, the maximum temperature remained at 31.4 degrees celsius, lower than the normal.

Across the state, there was no major rainfall, as Kaprada and Pardi in Valsad district recorded 16mm and 15mm rainfall respectively. Parts of central and south Gujarat recorded light rainfall. According to IMD forecast, on Monday and Tuesday, light to moderate rainfall is expected in almost all districts of Gujarat.
