Ahmedabad cools down with light showers

AHMEDABAD: Some parts of Ahmedabad city received light showers on Monday. However, it was less than 1mm, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to AMC figures, Paldi got 3.5mm, Odhav 2mm, Bodakdev, Science City, Chandlodia 1.5mm, and Bopal 1mm among others.

Due to the showers, the maximum temperature dipped to 30.5 degrees celsius, which was 2.8 degrees cooler than the normal temperature. Minimum temperature was also 0.8mm lower at 25.7 degrees.

On Tuesday, the city is likely to experience light rains or thundershowers. tnn
