AHMEDABAD: A 45-year-old social worker, a resident of Ambawadi, registered a complaint under IPC 354 (assault to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 323 (causing hurt) against one Chandrakant Movadiya.
The complainant stated that she operates an NGO in Bhudarpura area and she had to recover money from Movadiya. On Tuesday morning, she received a call from one of her relatives that Movadiya was in Krishnadham Avas on Vejalpur road. The complainant rushed to the area to demand her money.
On seeing the social worker, Movadia started abusing and assaulting her. He molested and pushed her, the complainant said.
She stated that she fell on a bed in the house where Movadiya was present and somehow came out of the house. She called the control room and later went to Anandnagar police station to lodged a complaint.
