Members of the AgriGold Customers and Agents’ Welfare Associations of A.P., Telangana, Odisha and Karnataka have demanded the governments to take over the benami properties of the AgriGold Group and render justice to all the 32 lakh customers in the four States.
Association honorary president and CPI State assistant secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao said that the company had deceived the customers spread over eight States, of which 31.5 lakh were in A.P., Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha.
He said the customers and agents, who had lost their hard-earned money, constituted the Federation of AgriGold Customers and Agents’ Association after a meeting here on Sunday.
The State governments in the four States should procure the properties of the firm and do justice to the victims, Mr. Nageswara Rao demanded.
