A young girl was left terrified after being threatened by a group of teenagers who snatched her bike in an alarming incident.
The girl, 13, and her friend were at Fairview Green on Sunday evening when they were approached by three boys aged around 15 years.
The aggressive teens verbally abused the girl and her friend before snatching her bike in broad daylight.
The trio then fled the scene with her bike leaving the girls frightened.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Clontarf are investigating the theft of bicycle that occurred on Saturday August 7, 2021, at approximately 5.25pm in Fairview Green.
"No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing."
