Aggressive dog reported in house sparking huge police presence

An aggressive dog sparked a huge police presence in a Merseyside street this evening.

Merseyside Police were called to a property on King Street in Wallasey, at 8.09pm tonight, to reports of concerns for an aggressive dog inside the property.

Photos showed a large presence of emergency services in the area, including four police cars parked on King Street alongside an ambulance.

Another ambulance can also be seen parked on a side street, beside two police cars.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police, said: "We can confirm that we are at the scene.

"We were called at 20.09 over concerns for an aggressive dog inside the premises.

Update: Police later confirmed that no one had been injured.
