AGF fans delighted as Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara rejoins with emotional video

Danish side AGF have confirmed that Kamil Grabara has rejoined on loan.

The Liverpool goalkeeper spent part of the 2018/19 season on loan at the Danish Superliga club and clearly made an impression.

Announcing that the 21-year-old was returning to Ceres Park, the club posted a video of Grabara's emotional final interview following the end of his initial spell.

He said: "If we never meet again then I want to say thank you, obviously.

"It was the best six months of my life, I grew as a man and as a player as well.

"It was good for everyone so I will always be thankful."

The video then cuts to Grabara climbing out of a plane saying "Let's do it again".

It is a signing that has proved popular among AGF fans.

"When everything just magically connects and life is beautiful," one commented. "Welcome back Kamil!"

Another said: "Today's best news!"

AGF manager Peter Christiansen said the club could not turn down a player of Grabara's quality.

He said: "Via my connections to Liverpool and with reference to the last successful loan, in the last few days an opportunity has arisen to bring Kamil back, which we have chosen to exploit.

"We have a good goalkeeping team in AGF and were not really in the market to strengthen ourselves in that position.

"But when the opportunity arises to pick up the quality that Kamil stands for and at the same time we could get a player back who knows the club, the surroundings and his teammates, then we jumped at the chance."
