The agent of West Ham midfielder Edimilson Fernandes has said the midfielder would be interested in a permanent move to Fiorentina once his loan there ends.
Swiss midfielder Fernandes has been on loan at the Viola for the 2018/19 season and has impressed while there, making 37 appearances for the Serie A side and scoring a couple of goals in the process.
The Hammers and Fiorentina have an £8m agreement in place if a permanent move were to take place though football.london understands Manuel Pellegrini wants to see the 23-year-old report back to east London for pre-season training in July to stake his claim for a spot in the Chilean's midfield next season.
Fernandes is benefiting from an extended run of games for the first time since he moved to east London from FC Sion ahead of the 2016/17 campaign and his agent, Franco Moretti, has hinted the midfielder is very happy with how things have gone and is open to a permanent move.

Speaking to Viola News, Moretti said: "The boy is very happy with his experience in Fiorentina, he is very happy to be in Italy.

"At the end of the season we will meet with the owners and the coach and we will talk about the boy’s future, trying to take the best decision for everyone.
"With the new coach [Vincenzo] Montella there was immediately a good relationship. The boy is very happy."
Montella replaced former manager Stefano Pioli, who had quit the club in rather acrimonious circumstances after three years in charge of the club. Prior to his dismissal, Pioli had overseen a run of one win in 11 games before Montella was appointed as Fiorentina manager for the second time.

Things haven't exactly improved under Montella though as Fiorentina have picked up just one point in their last eight outings and sit in 14th in the table but are safe from relegation in Serie A with just one game to go of the season.
