Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will always be interested in a return to his homeland to play in Italy's Serie A once again, according to his agent.
The 27-year-old endured a difficult debut in the Premier League last season after following Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge from Napoli but has found his feet under Frank Lampard's guidance.
Speculation of an exit floated around during the summer but he is now one of the first names on the teamsheet, playing a key role in a rejuvenated Blues outfit.
However, Jorginho 's agent, Joao Santos, has stated that the Italy international will always be open with a return to Serie A.
"As for a return to Serie A, anything is possible. He will always feel the desire to come back home," he told Radio Sportiva.
Since moving to England, Jorginho has cemented a spot in Italy's national side and scored for his nation in the recent 2-0 victory over Greece, which secured Italy's spot in next summer's European Championship.
While Santos' comments suggest that Jorginho would be open to a return to his homeland, he also admitted that playing in the Premier League has helped his client on the international stage.
"Naturally, it was not positive when Giampiero Ventura was the Italy coach, but he has slowly become first-choice in midfield.
"It certainly helps that he plays for Chelsea, because it’s a very intense style of football in England and he learned a lot from both Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard."
