'Agent Lyle' - Striker sends Nottingham Forest transfer message after Birmingham win

Djed Spence has made a big impact in a short space of time since joining Nottingham Forest on loan.

Reds fans have quickly taken to the defender following a string of impressive performances, with many already keen for him to sign on a permanent basis.

And it seems they are not the only ones who would like to see the Middlesbrough man stick around at the City Ground beyond this season.

Teammate Lyle Taylor (or #AgentLyle) has made it clear how highly he rates Spence and fellow full-back Max Lowe, who is on loan at Forest from Sheffield United.

Spence notched his first goal in the Garibaldi at the weekend, capping a brilliant individual and team display as he rounded off the scoring in a 3-0 triumph at Birmingham City.

Afterwards, he posted pictures on social media of himself celebrating, captioning them: “This is all I’ve ever wanted. To play and enjoy my football.”

Suggesting he looks like American rapper Wiz Khalifa, Taylor replied: “Can we get a whip round started for Wiz Khalifa’s services on a permanent basis?”

The striker went on to tease: “And Marvin Humes the other side too @maxlowe.”

Posting on his own page after Saturday’s win - and launching his Pink October campaign, in support of Cancer Research UK - Taylor said: “This team could quite literally be anything!!! Fantastic reception before the game for my pinkness, thank you Reds!!!”

When Spence responded with some emojis of pink bows, one Forest fan replied: “I’m not being dramatic but I’d sell my kidney if it meant you got to stay.”

Taylor again threw his weight behind that idea, saying, “me and you both @djedspence”.

Lowe played his part in making it back-to-back wins for Steve Cooper’s side at St Andrew’s, too.

He wrote on Instagram: “Great performance from the boys today & unbelievable support once again! COYR.”

Taylor was quick to chip in, saying: “Come on... Let’s negotiate your purchase Maxwell… #AgentLyle.” And he added two crying with laughter emojis for good measure.

Spence and Lowe are both due to spend the campaign on the banks of the Trent, having signed during the summer transfer window.
