'Agent JT' - Chelsea fans have a John Terry theory ahead of Aston Villa clash

Chelsea will be going into their next game full of confidence.

The Blues are next in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Aston Vila at Villa Park, with both teams looking to pick up all three points for very different reasons.

Frank Lampard's team's last outing saw them record a 4-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge, meaning that they have a gap of three points to fifth placed Manchester United.

Villa on the other hand go into the game looking to move out of the Premier League relegation zone with the Villains sitting in 19th place in the table two points adrift of safety.

The midlands side were in action on Monday night when they took on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, a game where they fell to a 4-0 loss thanks to goals from Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy.

The loss was Villa's fifth loss in a row in all competitions, with pressure growing on manager Dean Smith.

Smith is assisted at Villa Park by Chelsea legend John Terry, who turned to coaching after hanging up his boots in 2018.

After Villa's latest loss at the hands of Leicester it was suggested that a change at the midlands club could add an extra dimension to the Blues' visit to Villa Park at the weekend.

Terry spent the majority of his career at Stamford Bridge making 712 appearances for the Blues.

He left the club in 2017, joining Aston Villa where he made 36 appearances before announcing his retirement a year later.

Villa have won just one in their last seven league games, conceding 19 goals in that time.
