Arsenal's newest fan favourite Aaron Ramsdale has revealed that Bukayo Saka was integral to his arrival at the Emirates in the summer.
The former Sheffield United shot-stopper has been nothing short of fantastic since he upped sticks to North London in a switch that cost the Gunners £24m.
Ramsdale has kept three clean sheets in four league appearances for Mikel Arteta's side, while pulling off a number of stellar saves - including a spectacular stop late on in the recent North London derby victory.
The 23-year-old tipped Lucas Moura's deflected effort on to the crossbar to keep the score-line at 3-1 to Arsenal, preventing an even nervier finish for the hosts.

His fine form since donning the Gunners shirt has not gone unnoticed, with England boss Gareth Southgate recalling Ramsdale to the England squad for the latest round of World Cup qualifiers.
Given the low-stakes feel of both Three Lions games against Andorra and Hungary, Ramsdale could be feature in either.
Ramsdale's return to the international fold has seen him shed light on his switch to Arsenal to the media at England's St George's Park training base.
The goalkeeper revealed that Saka - a teammate at both club and country level, was contacted by Arteta about potentially signing him while the pair were on international duty at Euro 2020.
Speaking during an interview for England's official YouTube account, Ramsdale said: “Agent Saka, that’s what he says.
"He said the manager [Arteta] spoke to him a couple of times and thankfully he gave a good review of me."
Ramsdale went on to sing the praises of Saka, explaining: “"What a guy. He’s just happy. He’s just always happy.
"What a footballer as well. I’m very happy now he’s on my team at club level.
"When you come here and you’ve got the talent which we’ve got up top and Bukayo’s right in the mix of that.
"You just can’t help but smile when he’s mentioned or when he’s in the room."

Saka has picked up where he left off last term at club level, establishing himself as one of the first names on Arteta's team sheet.
The attacking midfielder, who only turned 20 last month, notched his first Premier League goal of the season against Tottenham just under a fortnight ago.
He was joined on the scoresheet by fellow Hale End academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe, as both look to be crucial parts of an Arsenal team aiming to return to the club's former glories.
