'Agent Bukayo, bring him home!' - Arsenal fans have a brilliant Jadon Sancho transfer theory

Bukayo Saka's response to Jadon Sancho on social media has got some Arsenal supporters talking.

The Borussia Dortmund winger was obviously watching the Gunners in FA Cup fourth round action against Bournemouth on Monday night as he reacted to the opening goal of the game at the Vitality Stadium.

Saka lashed the ball home from a tight angle in the fifth minute after being played in down the left-hand side by Gabriel Martinelli.

Sancho immediately took to Twitter and tweeted Saka's name alongside a handshake and raised hands emojis.

To which the Gunners wonderkid responded after helping his side book a fifth round tie against League One side Portsmouth in early March.

Saka's response was a simple handshake emoji, but to some Arsenal supporters it's more than that.

With three days until transfer deadline day, the theory amongst some fans is that the 18-year-old is playing a behind the scenes role in tempting Sancho into making the move to the Emirates Stadium.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...

Once again Saka caught the eye despite playing in an unfamiliar left-back role against the Cherries and besides the goal, his overall performance impressed head coach Mikel Arteta.

"It's the situation now because we don't have any left-backs," the Spaniard said in his post-match press conference. "What I like is that he put his head down - it's not his favourite position to play - but we try to adapt him with his qualities to play as much as possible in the position that he likes.

"But then he's very willing to learn all the defensive principles that we are asking him to do and his attitude is really good."
