Age-defying Nicole Kidman wows fans as she dazzles in sheer sequin crop-top

Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman wowed her Instagram followers on Thursday with another trademark age-defying look, comprising a stunning silver sequined crop-top, which she complemented with an oversized black Armani pantsuit.

The 54-year old rolled back the years - around twenty in fact - with the 2000s style that appears to be enjoying somewhat of a renaissance thanks to the likes of pop stars Olivia Rodriguo and Dua Lipa.

With the semi-see through metallic beads and rhinestones stealing the show below her iconic strawberry blonde locks, the Australian star rounded off the look by adding a diamond watch, red nails and pointy flats.

Captioning the photo on the social media platform where she has over eight million fans, she wrote : "Throwing back to a Thursday not too long ago."

Within five hours it had received 65,000 likes and almost 600 replies, with one fan commenting: "A great Thursday to you and your family, Nic!! This photo is too beautiful."

Another added: "You can still rock that midriff."

A third said: "What a gorgeous picture of you!"

The shot was actually taken at Giorgio Armani's pre-Oscars party at the designer's flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills on March 26 (a Saturday in fact).

Nicole, an Oscar nominee for her role as Lucille Ball in "Being the Ricardos", stole the show and surely made the 87-year old designer proud.

Other stars to appear included Adrien Brody, Sophia Loren, Barbara Palvin and Olivia Culpo.

Nicole is currently filming for new Amazon Video series Expats - a drama based on the 2016 novel The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee.

She is one of the series' six executive producers on the series and will also play the lead role, Margaret, a member of a close-knit and wealthy expatriate community.

The project began last year during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in Hong Kong, which sparked controversy in the country as Kidman was granted an exemption from the mandatory seven-day hotel quarantine to start filming straight away.
