Time is marching on and Mother's Day, on March 14, will be here before you know it.
Even if you can't be with your mum on Mother's Day, there are plenty of ways to spoil that special woman in your life, especially if she's a food lover.
With restaurants, pubs and tea rooms closed during lockdown, there's no opportunity to book a table to treat your mum to a Sunday roast, a lavish afternoon tea, or a glass of gin - but you can arrange a surprise delivery or collection for her to enjoy at home instead.
Here are some ideas of what's available:
Sunday roast
Your mum doesn't need to be partial to French gastronomy to enjoy a Sunday lunch takeaway from the Nottingham restaurant Petit Paris.
The menu offers a choice of prime cuts of locally-sourced meat, including organic blade of beef, pork belly, and lamb shoulder. Alternatively, there's a vegetarian main course of balsamic beetroot, goats cheese and asparagus en croute.
Each is served with honey-roasted root vegetables, spring Leek and cauliflower cheese, buttery Maris Piper mash, new potatoes and stuffing.
Pudding is either apple and blackberry crumble or chocolate and Bailey's bread and butter pudding.
Anything between one and six portions can be ordered, priced £12.50 for a main and £4.95 dessert. The more ordered, the cheaper it gets, working out at £85.00 for six.
Why not go the extra mile and throw in a bottle of wine too from the list?
Deliveries will be made from Thursday March 11 to Saturday March 13.

Cheesecake

Sweet-toothed, gin-drinking mums will love the Mother's Day offering from cheesecake extraordinaire Big Mike's Fat Kitchen in Carlton.
The baker has created a gin and tonic cheesecake topped with a bottle of gin - a miniature one that is, so don't get TOO excited.
It must be pre-ordered and there's limited availability for collection from the shop in Carlton Hill.
Other flavours available include lemon, Lotus Biscoff and Ferrero Rocher, with prices ranging from £20 to £25 for a nine-inch cheesecake.

Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea is always a winner and many restaurants, cafes and professional bakers are offering takeaway versions.
The Tasting Table caterer in Mapperley has a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes.
The savoury selection includes cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and egg and cress, on various breads, while there's a serious amount of sweet treats to keep munching on throughout the afternoon.
It goes without saying there are scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam - always an afternoon tea must. Chocolate brownies, meringues with cream and fruit, Madeleines and strawberry tarts complete the sweet platter.
The price is £20 per person and £10 for added bubbles.
Collection is available or delivery within a five-mile radius of Mapperley Park (an extra £5).

Pub grub
Burgers, fish and chips, salad, afternoon tea, or a Sunday lunch are all on the takeaway menu at country pub, the Black Bull at Blidworth.
Coming out of a 2 Rosette AA rated kitchen, it's not your average pub grub either.
The Mother's Day menu comes with a selection of starters, such as katsu chicken, soup, and garlic mushrooms before the main event which has options of top side of beef, veggie sausages, a quarter pounder and halloumi burger.
Rounding it off are desserts of a fragrant lemon, basil and elderflower trifle, chocolate brownie and apple and rhubarb pie.
Collection is between noon and 7pm on March 14 from the pub in Main Street, Blidworth.
