After 'sh***y' Leeds United insult Noel Gallagher takes aim at Championship rivals during Yorkshire return

Oasis legend Noel Gallagher has been at it again.

Thankfully, on his Yorkshire return he didn’t give Leeds United any stick after famously referring to them as ‘sh***y’ last year.

Instead, he took aim at Hull City on Saturday night when he made his first visit to the city since 1994.

The mischievous Manc, 51, played an awesome show at Hull’s Bonus Arena filled with Oasis classics and songs from his High Flying Birds

Addressing the crowd, midway through the 20-song set, Gallagher decided to poke a little bit of fun at Hull City.

Sarcastically, he asked: “How’s your football team doing? They still going? Are they still in business? You are joking.”

He then asked the crowd what league Hull City played in and someone told Noel the club are currently in the Championship.

He replied: “How far down is that? Is that the third division?”

As you can see in our video above, Gallagher, then mockingly roared at the crowd and said ‘Tigers’.

You probably know Gallagher had an interesting relationship with Leeds and Yorkshire last year.

Where do we start with the former Oasis man? Firstly, he came to First Direct Arena and slagged Leeds United off by calling them 'sh***y '.

Throughout the show, Gallagher, kept ‘mistakenly’ thinking he was in Newcastle and referring to the crowd as Geordies.

It was all in good humour although the Leeds audience gave as good as they got by doing chants of 'Yorkshire, Yorkshire' and 'Liam, Liam' in reference to Gallagher's younger brother.

Then, when he took his Flying Birds to Scarborough, Gallagher, took aim at fellow headliner Britney Spears and at Bingley Music Live he slagged this beautiful county of Yorkshire. His behaviour bagged himself a place of our villains of 2018 shortlist.

Thankfully, those incidents, like this one, were all taken in good humour with a pinch of salt.
