After hearing from Zac Taylor, Chad Johnson jokes about signing with Bengals

Chad Johnson never fails to entertain.

Recently, the modern Cincinanti Bengals legend connected with the team’s new head coach, Zac Taylor. At the time, this was a good gesture by Taylor, who saw Johnson wondering if he’d be welcomed by the new era for the team and reached out.

Now, Chad has started being Chad about it, as seen in the tweet above where he fakes a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Everything else aside, the joke is maybe a little too funny considering the Bengals are without A.J. Green, who could possibly miss multiple games.

The team’s official Twitter account has also gotten in on the fun:

In all seriousness, Chad has hinted he’ll be in town for training camp next week, so things are moving quickly on this front.

And more than anything else, it is nice to see Taylor take the initiative on this front. Former Bengals like Chad should always have a place around the team in camps and otherwise, if they want to partake.
