After Emmanuel Sanders trade, Broncos have no offensive players left from Super Bowl roster

The NFL is an ever-changing league, and teams see a high rate of turnover from season to season. Still, teams do what they can to hang on to their best players.

Following the trade of Emmanuel Sanders by the Denver Broncos, perhaps the saddest note is that the team no longer has a single offensive player from the team that won Super Bowl 50 less than four years ago.

Here’s the team’s offensive roster in that game:

RB: C.J. Anderson

OL: Sam Brenner

WR: Andre Caldwell

TE: Owen Daniels

TE: Vernon Davis

OL: James Ferentz

WR: Bennie Fowler

OL: Max Garcia

TE: Virgil Green

OL: Ryan Harris

RB: Ronnie Hillman

WR: Cody Latimer

QB: Peyton Manning

OL: Evan Mathis

OL: Robert Myers

WR: Jordan Norwood

QB: Brock Osweiler

OL: Matt Paradis

OL: Tyler Polumbus

WR: Emmanuel Sanders

OL: Michael Schofield

QB: Trevor Siemian

WR: Demaryius Thomas

RB: Juwan Thompson

OL: Louis Vasquez

Each of those players is either playing for a different team or no longer in the league. It truly is the end of an era in Denver.

The only players left from the Broncos’ Super Bowl win are outside linebacker Von Miller, cornerback Chris Harris, defensive end Derek Wolfe and kicker Brandon McManus.
