After dark adventure golf has come to Haigh Woodland Park - with its own 'blood lagoon'

Families are being promised 'a truly unique experience' playing adventure golf in the dark this .

The event is taking place at Haigh Woodland Park in Wigan where players can take to the course between 4pm and 8pm from now until Wednesday.

It's the first time the place has opened after dark and it's been given a spooky makeover with the pond transformed into a 'blood lagoon'.

Organisers say there'll be 'Halloween music and spooky sounds as well as 18 fantastic holes on our ever popular adventure golf course'.

It costs £4 per person and there's no need to book, so just turn up and play on the evening. Last admission is 7pm.
