The CEO of Astronomer who was allegedly caught cheating on his wife at a Coldplay concert is facing a new scandal.
Andy Byron went from successful businessman to the laughingstock of the internet after he was seen getting cozy with one of his employees on the big screen during a Coldplay concert on Wednesday night (July 16).
After they were shown embracing on the jumbotron, the head of the company and his HR chief quickly turned away and stepped out of the camera’s view, visibly embarrassed.

Chris Martin—the frontman of the English band—took notice of the duo’s unusual reaction to the kiss cam and quipped, “They’re either having an affair or they’re just very shy.” As it turns out, all signs pointed to the former.
The video went viral and eventually landed on the social media feed of Jonathan Bowen, a man who claimed to have gone to school with Andy and labeled him a “sociopath.”

Taking to X, Jonathan reposted the clip and wrote, “When I was a teenager living in Hanover, Massachusetts, I got into a couple of fights with a kid a bit younger than me but slightly bigger, named Andy Byron.
“He thought he was tough, so I had to put him in his place. I beat him up once or twice, but later, he and another buddy from Laurie Lane—I was the f**kin’ new guy—jumped me, and I lost that fight.
“Turns out, he’s the same guy who was caught cheating on his wife at the Coldplay concert!”

Jonathan added that Andy “clearly hasn’t learned his lesson” and that his role in the company did not come as a surprise to him.
“When I knew him, I thought he’d be a competitor; he’s now the CEO of Astronomy, but I also knew he’d be a complete sociopath, and it turns out I was right.”
Jonathan said he gave Andy a “WWF-style pile driver” to defend himself when they were in school

Jonathan said he once gave Andy a “WWF-style pile driver” to “make a statement” about his character, something he now regrets.
When one user accused Jonathan of bullying younger children, he replied, “Andy was a big c*nt who was less than 17 months younger than me, but you go ahead and make yourself feel better by blaming me for his issues.”

He also shared a purported Facebook post written by one of Andy’s former friends, who celebrated the incident as “karma” finally catching up to teach him a lesson.
“Same look he gave me when I approached him after he backed into my car and took off knowing I was gonna beat his a**,” the post read, referring to Andy’s terrified look upon being exposed in front of thousands.
“Then [Andy] had to take the money out of his bank account cause he couldn’t let his sh**ty parents who called the cops on us all the time find out!”
The post concluded by referring to the incident as an example of “karma at its best.”

Another man claimed that his wife had gone to college with Jonathan’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, and described her as “an absolute sweetheart.” In contrast, she said Andy wasn’t “all that bright.”
According to a Page Six report, Megan deleted her Facebook account following the cheating scandal. Before taking down her profile, she removed her married surname from her account after netizens flooded her photos with comments about her unfaithful husband.

The woman seen cuddling with Andy during the Boston concert at Gillette Stadium has been identified as Kristin Cabot, the chief human resources officer at Andy’s tech company.
Andy and Kristin work together at the AI and data-based company, which is valued at $1.2 billion, according to The Post.
Andy assumed the role of CEO for the New York-based business in July 2023.

Kristin joined the company in November 2024. In a company press release, Andy praised her “exceptional leadership” and two decades of HR experience.
“Her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer,” he gushed.
The mother, who recently divorced her husband, Kenneth Thornby, shared on LinkedIn that her conversations with Andy prior to being hired had “energized” her about the “opportunities” at the company.
The HR expert also noted that she’s known for earning “trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants.”

It appears that Andy made a few enemies during his professional journey, as his former employees were “laughing their a** off” about his alleged unfaithful behavior being exposed, The Post reported.
“The text groups and chains of former employees are like… everybody’s laughing their ass off and enjoying the hell out of what happened and him getting exposed,” said one source, who accused the CEO of being a “toxic” boss.
“I knew he’d be a complete sociopath, and it turns out I was right,” wrote Jonathan Bowen

A fake statement attributed to Andy has been doing rounds on social media, in which he allegedly apologizes to his wife, family, and the team at Astronomer.
Neither Andy, Kristin, nor the company has publicly commented on the incident.
“Karma always catches up,” one social media user expressed
