Acting on a specific tip-off that red sanders was being smuggled in a car, K.R. Puram police set up nakabandi at Medarahalli on Sunday. When they tried to stop a suspected car, the driver did not stop and sped away.
Soon, a filmy chase ensued and the police were able to obstruct the pathway of the car. Of the two occupants, one fled from the scene, even as police were successful in apprehending the driver of the car Abdul Rehman.
