After 0-6 start, Bengals’ strength of schedule at least gets much easier

The Cincinnati Bengals aren’t in the business of catching breaks or having good luck this season.

But they might get one anyway. As seen in the tweet above from ESPN’s Mike Clay, the Bengals have the seventh-easiest remaining strength of schedule the rest of the way.

A little breathing room would be nice after a brutal start. Going to Seattle in Week 1 was tough, San Francisco and Buffalo shared nine wins and no losses and both Arizona and Baltimore boasted the mobile quarterbacks the franchise seems helpless to contain.

The rest of the way? The Bengals get 2-4 Jacksonville, an underwhelming Rams team (3-3) in London, 3-2 Oakland, a one-win Jets team hobbled by injuries, tanking Miami and the exposed-as-hype-only Browns (2-4).

Are there a ton of wins on the remaining schedule for this Bengals team? Maybe not, which depending on one’s approach to the draft, might be a good thing.

But if nothing else, the relentless nature of the schedule should ease up — at least on paper.
