Lost in Showbiz has always been vaguely aware that some things may be bigger than whatever did or didn't go on on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith.
This week, it turns out that one of them is poverty in sub-Saharan Africa, because it emerges that Jennifer Aniston is going to stand shoulder to shoulder with Angelina Jolie, the woman who co-starred with her then husband Brad Pitt in the enduringly tedious assassin flick.
Both ladies have become keen supporters of the charity OmniPeace, whose aim is to eradicate poverty by 2025, and whose website demands: "Can a T-shirt End Poverty? OmniPeace Thinks So."
So they sound like a really smart outfit. They also mock up a picture of the pair together with the caption: "how a shirt bought them together".
Anyway, I guess the main thing is that Jen and Angie have found something to agree on, and hopefully it'll put to bed those endlessly snippy disputes as to the precise date on which everyone got together, or split up, or was On A Break or whatever.
And if a few African children get to be in some cool magazine photoshoots while they're at it, then that's an awesome bonus, right?
