The Confederation of African Football [CAF] have reportedly opened talks over cancelling the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] tournament in Cameroon next month.
Liverpool are set to lose Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita to the event but French news channel RMC believe it could be scrapped.
Jurgen Klopp will see his stars leave for AFCON at the start of the New Year, with the tournament currently scheduled from January 9 to February 6.
