Bolton Wanderers are now 12 games into their League One campaign and more than a quarter of the campaign is now done and dusted.
Wanderers are in a promising position so far in the third tier of English football, sitting eighth in the table after paying 12 games.
Performances have been positive for the most part and Wanderers are the joint second highest top scorers in the division.

When it clicks for Ian Evatt's side and they take their chances in front of goal, then big victories such as those against Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic have shown what they are capable of.
But matches where chances are not taken have also shown where Wanderers need to develop a more consistent ruthless streak in front of goal, such as in the losses to Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday.
We've reflected on the season so far and come up with a quarterly season rating of the League One campaign so far for the Wanderers squad based on those players who have picked up first team minutes for Bolton in the division this campaign.
Please note, this is based on League One appearances only, so there are no mention of exploits in the Carabao Cup or Papa John's Trophy or players who have only appeared in those competitions.
Joel Dixon - 7
Become Bolton's first choice goalkeeper this season and has been solid and steady throughout the campaign so far.
Matt Gilks - 5
Played just once in the league this season in the opening day 3-3 draw against MK Dons and arguably should have done better for one or two of the goals that day.
Gethin Jones - 7
One of the most reliable perfomers from last season has done so again this campaign for Wanderers. Club's first choice right-back who is adapting well to being back in League One.
Declan John - 6
Has had a disrupted season owing to injury and illness which have kept him out of action and meant a stop-start campaign thusfar for the left-back. Has impressed at times going forward.
Ricardo Almeida Santos - 8
Player of the season from last year has taken to League One like a duck to water. His attributes means he is seldom beaten in one-on-one duels and and has the ability to play out from the back
George Johnston - 7
Summer signing has become Santos' partner at the back and acclimatised well to life at Wanderers and the style of play imposed at the club by Evatt. Very promising partnership with Santos which is only set to grow and improve.
Alex Baptiste - 6
Has had to make do with more time on the bench this season owing to the form of Johnston and has made a few errors which have led to goals, but has done alright for the most part, including scoring valuable late equaliser vs MK Dons
Liam Gordon - 6
Deputised for John when the Welshman has been unavailable and has done a solid job overall, though young player still has aspects of the game to improve and to be confident on the pitch, as Evatt has highlighted with the latter.
MJ Williams - 8
One of the most important players in this Bolton team. The link between defence and attack in the middle of the park and seems to rarely concede possession. A player Wanderers really have no direct like for like replacement.
Josh Sheehan - 7
Midfielder started season on fire and became first choice selection for Evatt. His three goals and his use of the ball have caught the eye, but has been off the bench lately thanks to the form of Kieran Lee.
Antoni Sarcevic - 7
Captain has been hardworking and solid in the middle of the park for Wanderers in League One, a division he knows well, and has chipped in with three goals so far, including the important winner against Lincoln City on the road.
Kieran Lee - 7
Only played a handful of games from the start this season owing to Sheehan's arrival, but has impressed when given the chance. Ought to have scored winner vs Burton Albion if it were not for decision from the officials, scored brace against Charlton and impressed against Shrewsbury and old club Sheffield Wednedday
Dapo Afolayan - 9
The star of the season so far for Wanderers. The club's top scorer with six goals in the division so far and is the most potent threat in this Bolton team. Has often become the player that opposition teams are trying to shut down by doubling or even tripling up at times on the attacker.
Lloyd Isgrove - 6.5
Came into the starting XI thanks to the injury picked up by Amadou Bakayoko. May not have scored or assisted in the division this season yet, but work rate in the final third and defensive duties has proved big advantages with the winger's selection.
Eoin Doyle - 6
Top scorer from last season has found strikes harder to come by so far this campaign. Has found the back of the net three times in League One this season and work rate cannot be faulted, but has struggled at times to put chances away when presented. On occasions, he has been feeding on scraps too.
Amadou Bakayoko - 6
Started the campaign explosively with a goal and an assist in his first two League One games, but has only recently returned to action from a calf problem. One to watch this season going forwards
Nathan Delfouneso - 5
Has only come off the bench three times so far this season towards the end of matches to very tough to judge attacker given his limited minutes in League One this campaign.
Elias Kachunga - 6.5
Arrived just before the start of the season and has made some important contributions so far, with assists for Baptiste in the draw against MK Dons and Sarcevic in the win versus Lincoln. Technique and quality from a higher level evident at times, and has recently been making starts.
