Dees lose pace with top-four as St Kilda hang on
Melbourne sits inside the top-eight only on points difference after narrowly failing to chase down St Kilda at the MCG.
The Demons weren't able to arrest their slide, and fell to their third straight loss after the 18.11 (119) to 17.9 (117) defeat to a Saints side which has now won two straight.
Tim Membrey and Jade Gresham both kicked four goals for St Kilda, which had to fight to hold on late.
