Afghanistan's former minister now works as a delivery boy!

Change is the only constant, but when this change leads to destruction, it is definitely not good. The destructive change happened for Afghanistan’s former Communications and IT Minister Syed Ahmad Shah Saadat, who was recently spotted delivering pizzas in Germany's Leipzig.

As per reports, he had joined the Ashraf Ghani-led Afghanistan government as a cabinet minister in 2018. Later, he had served for two years as the Afghanistan information and technology minister, but resigned in 2020, after differences with the country's then-President.

Later he left Afghanistan and settled in Leipzig, Germany. As per the grapevine, he ran out of money soon and is since then delivering pizzas.

He was first spotted by a German journalist, who tweeted, "A few days ago, I met a man who claimed to have been the Afghan communications minister for two years. I asked what he was doing in Leipzig. "I'm driving out of Essen for Lieferando." For the unversed, Lieferando provides food delivery services in Germany.

In the picture doing rounds on social media, he is spotted in an orange suit on a bicycle in the city. As per Sky News Arabia, Syed Ahmad Shah Saadat has confirmed that the pictures circulating on social media were his.

Interestingly, he holds two master's degrees in communications and electronic engineering from Oxford University.
