Afghan lives under threat as ambulance services overstretched

Across Afghanistan a chronic shortage of ambulances is failing patients and victims of bomb attacks who need to get to the hospital quickly.

In the capital, the Kabul Ambulance Service has just 29 ambulances for five million people.

It means that some people have even jumped into cabs to get immediate treatment.
