Glasgow-based affordable and mid-market homes developer Swan Group has strengthened its leadership team with the recruitment of Colin Anderson as commercial director.
A chartered quantity surveyor for 25 years, Anderson has extensive experience of delivering social and integrated housing developments in partnership with registered social landlords and local authorities.
Anderson has spent the last 22 years with the Cruden Group, with the majority of his tenure as director, with responsibility for commercial, development, land and technical activities.
He joins managing director Phil McGinlay and land and development director Derek Smith on the company's senior team.
McGinlay said: “Colin’s appointment will further enhance the growth of the business - his experience in the industry working to create more homes will be invaluable."
Anderson commented: "Having started in quantity surveying, I then progressed into a development role and subsequently was appointed as a director for a business delivering affordable housing, I understand the challenges, as well as opportunities within this sector.
