AFC South standings update entering Week 11

At one point, it appeared the AFC South had a runaway favorite to win the division. Now, three teams are seemingly in the mix as the playoff picture comes into focus entering Week 11.

With all four teams in the division on the field in Week 10, two of them came away with wins on the road. The other two failed to enter the win column, scoring just nine combined points in their games.

Be sure to check out our friends over at Titans Wire, Jaguars Wire and Texans Wire to get all the news and analysis you need around the division.

Here’s a look around the AFC South at the division standings entering Week 11:

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3)

[Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union]
Division record: 2-1
Conference record: 4-2
Point Differential: +6

Week 10 result: Loss (34-3 vs. 49ers)
Week 10 recap: Despite coming out of the bye week, the Jaguars looked lost against a stout 49ers team. Trevor Lawrence threw for just 185 yards without a touchdown while adding two interceptions. The 49ers offense thrived with Brock Purdy tossing 296 yards and three touchdowns in an easy win. Jacksonville gets a divisional matchup next.

Week 11: vs. Tennessee Titans (6-3)

Houston Texans (5-4)

Division record: 1-1
Conference record: 3-2
Point Differential: +25

Week 10 result: Win (30-27 at Bengals)
Week 10 recap: As much as Colts fans won’t want to admit it, the Texans are a fun team. Rookie C.J. Stroud seems primed toward earning the Rookie of the Year honors as he had another big day throwing for 356 yards, one touchdown, one interception and adding a score on the ground. Houston will be back home for their next matchup, likely as favorites.

Week 11: vs Arizona Cardinals (2-8)

Indianapolis Colts (5-5)

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Division record: 2-2
Conference record: 4-3
Point Differential: -6

Week 10 result: Win (10-6 at Patriots)
Week 10 recap: It doesn’t matter how you win as long as you win. The Colts now have two ugly wins in a row against bottom-feeder offenses, but they stuck through those game to come out on the other side with victories. Dayo Odeyingbo recorded a career-high 3.0 sacks while Jonathan Taylor scored the lone touchdown for Indy. Now, they enjoy the bye week with some momentum while looking to sort out some issues offensively.

Conference record: 2-4
Point Differential: -26

Week 10 result: Loss (20-6 at Buccaneers)
Week 10 recap: The honeymoon phase for Will Levis appears to be fading. Tennessee has lost its last two game since his stellar debut. In this one, Levis threw for just 199 yards on 39 attempts, which included an interception, while Derrick Henry was bottled up to the tune of 24 rushing yards. Now, Tennessee will face the division leaders for the first time this season, which also will be just their second divisional game of 2023 thus far.

Week 11: at Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3)
