Entering Week 3 of the 2019 season, the Indianapolis Colts (1-1) will be looking to keep pace in the AFC South standings following their divisional win on Sunday.
Here’s a look at how the standings look as the third week approaches:
1. Indianapolis Colts (1-1)
Following their 19-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, the Colts technically hold the top spot in the division, but it’s a three-way tie for first. They avoided an 0-2 start thanks to a late fourth-quarter comeback behind Jacoby Brissett’s three red-zone touchdowns.
The Colts are at home in Week 3 for the first time this season hosting the Atlanta Falcons at Lucas Oil Stadium.
2. Houston Texans (1-1)
After the heartbreaking but exciting loss to the Saints, the Texans bounced back with a nail-biting win against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars, who had rookie Gardner Minshew under center. It was a rough game for Deshaun Watson, but the Texans got the job done at home, 13-12.
The Texans are on the road in Week 3 traveling to the West Coast to visit the Los Angeles Chargers at Dignity Health Sports Park.
3. Tennessee Titans (1-1)
The Titans were on the wrong end of a comeback on Sunday against the Colts. Quarterback Marcus Mariota couldn’t get anything going downfield while Derrick Henry took 15 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown. Ultimately, they fell on a late drive to the Colts.
The Titans are visiting the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football at TIAA Bank Field.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)
The only winless team in the division, the Jaguars haven’t gotten off to a good start for the 2019 season. Their starting quarterback has been injured, the offense is in a flux and now Jalen Ramsey has asked for a trade. It’s a bad time to be a Jaguars fan.
The Jaguars are hosting the Titans on Thursday Night Football in Week 3.
