AFC North standings: Ravens might have built insurmountable lead after Week 7

The Baltimore Ravens handled themselves well in Seattle, defeating the Seahawks 30-16. The win puts them at 5-2 and thanks to half of the division being on their byes, Baltimore increased their lead in the AFC North standings.

The Cincinnati Bengals held their own for three quarters against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But the Jaguars took over the game in the final quarter, putting up 18 unanswered points until the final minute of the game. Still winless, Cincinnati has to be wondering if they’ll be just the third team to go 0-16 in a season, with their schedule not getting much easier.

Both the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers got their bye weeks a little early and are hoping the rest will put them back on track. But with the Ravens effectively holding a 2.5-game lead in the AFC North standings, it might be too little, too late for them.

Take a look at the AFC North standings after Week 7:

AFC North standings:

Team Record Division Record Conference Record
Baltimore Ravens 5-2 2-1 3-2
Cleveland Browns 2-4 1-0 2-1
Pittsburgh Steelers 2-4 1-1 2-2
Cincinnati Bengals 0-7 0-2 0-3
