The Jacksonville Jaguars’ draft party is always an action packed event and this year they’ll be joined by one of the hottest names in the wrestling industry in Cody “The American Nightmare” Rhodes Monday afternoon the veteran wrestler took to Twitter to ask fans of the Jags to join him at Pet Paradise (at TIAA Bank) on draft night to welcome the Jags first-round pick.
As most are aware, Rhodes is the vice president of All Elite Wrestling, which was funded by Jags owner Shad Khan and will be partly ran by his son, Tony Khan. And though the company hasn’t had its first official wrestling event, the buzz it’s building has been strong and many believe they’ll be able to compete with the WWE from Day 1.
As for the other festivities that will take place at the draft party, fans will be able to take a draft stage to get their picture snapped as a first-round draftee, win merchandise that commemorates the Jags’ 25th anniversary, meet the Jags first-round selection and much more.
