‘Aesthetics of Contemporary Critical Thinking’ … Latest Book by Mohammad Zaidan

The Supreme Council of Culture in Egypt recently released a new book, titled "Aesthetics of Critical Thinking" by Dr. Mohammad Zaidan. The author has ten other critical books, including "Theory of Narration in Contemporary Poetry," "New Rhetoric" and "Poetic Text."

The publisher describes the new book as a research in the aesthetics of the contemporary critical speech, taking Dr. Hamed Abu Ahmed as an example, given that critical speech requires much study and research, just like creative texts, such as poetry, story and theater.

In his new release, Zaidan discusses the contemporary critical text that needs to be treated as a text that unveils several levels of creativity and knowledge, because it features many dimensions linked to the literary text as the first creator, and the critical text as the second creator.

The responsiveness between these two leads to a third creator providing us with many intellectual understandings that could act as an important access to creative views of reality.

The critical text is considered a creative document on a specific time and place connected to the historic, social, and humanitarian self and circumstances.

It condenses the connections resulting from the existence of the creator, and the impact of these connections on the text's linguistic and intellectual levels. It also focuses on the responses to these texts when we look at them after their completion, and on the receiver, his responses and these responses' limits.
