Aer Lingus flights between Dublin Airport and Florida cancelled and rescheduled as Hurricane Dorian approaches

Aer Lingus flights between Dublin Airport and Florida have been cancelled and rescheduled as Hurricane Dorian approaches.

The airline informed passengers which flights had been affected, and explained how customers can re-book their tickets, RSVP Live reports.

They wrote on Twitter: "EI121 and EI120 to/from Orlando on Monday 02 Sept are cancelled.

"Guests can re-book to an alternative date within the next seven days via http://aerlingus.com, free of charge. Call us on 00 353 1 761 7844 or 00 353 1 886 8989 for assistance with rebooking.

"Due to #HurricaneDorian EI141 DUB-MIA, 01 Sep, will operate 3hrs earlier than planned, departing Dublin at 1250 local, arriving in MIA at 1705 local. EI140 MIA-DUB, 01 Sep, will operate 3hrs 30min earlier than planned, departing MIA at 1910 local, arriving DUB at 0740 local."

Daytona Beach International Airport announced they will be shutting down in the early morning hours of Monday September 2.

"Daytona Beach International Airport’s terminal will close after the last flight departs Sunday night," an airport press release announced on Friday.

"When weather conditions worsen, the airfield will be open only for emergencies. There will be no flights beginning Monday until further notice."
