Aer Lingus flight sways as pilot battles frightening Storm Dennis winds at Dublin Airport

Scary footage shows a flight battling hard against Storm Dennis winds as it lands at Dublin Airport.

The Aer Lingus Airbus a330 was captured on film by Colm Phelan as it came into the capital on Saturday around 2.30pm.

The plane can be seen slowly coming in from a field across the runway with camera man on the road in between.

The Aer Lingus jet sways a little from side to side as it slows down and prepares to hit the ground.

As it passes over Colm's head its lowers down swaying a little before hitting the tarmac safely.

It was a rocky week for flyers as footage taken last Saturday shows another Aer Lingus plane violently rocking as it came in to land during Storm Ciara.

Yesterday's video comes as Met Eireann issued a Yellow Weather Warning which will remain in place until 11pm tonight.

The good news is Dennis's 'rain' of terror will ease off during the week - but wind speeds of up to 109kph and possible hail and thunder is on the cards for today.
