Adventure park just for DOGS opens - here are the rules for your four-legged pals

Dogs can finally experience the thrills of obstacle courses, lakes and woodland all in one carefully curated place.

Unleashed dog park opened near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire this weekend.

Set in stunning countryside, there is acres of space to roam freely off the lead - so long as you keep to the rules.

The park has all the fundamentals covered, including tree stumps, tyres, tunnels and branches, providing plenty of space to crawl, climb and jump.

It is the brainchild of Jess Fleet, who struggled to find places for her dog to play off its lead.

Speaking to CheshireLive she said: "We've had the land in our family for a while and it's an idea I've always had.

"I've always had dogs - my Springer Spaniel loves the water."

For dogs who live exclusively with humans, socialisation sessions provide the perfect opportunity to link up with other hounds in a relaxed environment.

Sessions on Saturdays and Sundays are split into miniature and small, all dogs or medium and large dogs.

An hour-and-a-half slot costs £6 for one dog, £9 for two or £12 for three to four.

Jess is convinced dog owners will be keen to bring their beloved pooches to the park.

"I have had a lot of demand since advertising," she said.

"During the sessions owners stay with their dogs, as it's not day care - owners will be responsible.
